Finley’s process-driven approach applies to every project, because the award-winning results we deliver aren’t accidental; they’re the product of a disciplined process.
Finley Construction is recognized in the Monadnock Region and southern Vermont for its strong community accountability.
Paul and his crew did a fantastic job renovating an early 2000s kitchen for us, including removing a wall to open up the space – check out the photos for a before/after! They also replaced a deck that had been improperly installed (and was rotten and close to collapsing). Quality work, good communication, and completed on our short timeline – highly recommend!

We worked with Finley construction to install new siding on our house and garage. The crew did quality work and communication was excellent.
I can’t say enough about Finley Construction. Paul and his crew do to notch work, provide excellent communication and quality craftsmanship. I highly recommend.

Springfield’s mill-era and Victorian housing stock carries a distinct architectural character that rewards a contractor who truly understands it. We know the infrastructure challenges common to properties of this age and approach every structural decision with that historical knowledge in mind.
Beyond the architecture, Springfield’s geography requires foresight. For properties situated near the Black River, considerations such as proper drainage, moisture-resistant construction, and Vermont’s specific environmental regulations are factored into our structural planning from the outset. We build spaces designed to withstand the realities of Vermont’s climate, ensuring your investment remains pristine year-round.
Costs vary significantly based on project scope, structural changes, and the quality of your finish selections. Because Finley Construction specializes in high-end transformations, such as luxury bathrooms, custom kitchens, and full-home remodels, our projects represent a significant investment in your property. Older and historic homes may also require specialized materials and structural preservation, which can affect pricing.
During your initial phone consultation, we will discuss your vision and provide a realistic investment range before any design work begins. Give us a call so we can share with you a free estimate: https://finleyconstruction.us/contact/
Our process runs in three phases: Discuss, Design, and Build.
It starts with an initial phone consultation to ensure we are the right fit for your goals. From there, we move into our structured design phase. Unlike contractors who hand you a catalog and walk away, our in-house designer works directly with you to develop a buildable, precise plan. We coordinate all the heavy lifting, from structural engineering to bringing in certified specialists for custom plumbing and electrical work. Once the scope, materials, and investment are approved, our crew executes the build with consistent communication and zero hidden surprises.
For exterior projects, late spring through early fall offers the best conditions. Interior work can proceed year-round, though winter weather may occasionally affect delivery timelines for materials.
For bookings, we recommend planning early, especially for summer projects, which typically book months in advance. Contact us in winter or early spring if you’re targeting a summer construction window. For fall weatherization work, late summer is the right time to get on the schedule.
The difference comes down to scope. A renovation stays within the existing structure of a space: improving finishes, replacing fixtures, or updating materials without altering the layout or how the room functions
A remodel starts with a question: What could this space be? It involves changing layouts, adjusting structural elements, and reconfiguring rooms to function differently. Finley Construction is a remodeling contractor, our projects go beyond cosmetic improvements.
Finley Construction serves Springfield and surrounding communities throughout the Monadnock region of New Hampshire and neighboring areas of Vermont.
