Kitchen Remodeling in Nelson, New Hampshire Handled With Care
At Finley Construction, we handle kitchen remodels in Nelson and the Monadnock Region. Many homes here are older farmhouses, so our in-house designer works out a layout that fits, and we keep one crew on the project through the build.
Our crew takes on custom cabinets, countertop replacement, flooring and backsplash, and complete kitchen gut renovations, all managed by our own team.
Custom Cabinetry for Farmhouse-Style Kitchens
We help you choose cabinets that suit a farmhouse kitchen, with custom, semi-custom, and quality stock lines in a range of finishes.
Countertops Built to Handle Daily Life
A countertop that gets used every day eventually shows it. When yours starts to crack or wear through, we’ll replace it with a surface made for that kind of use.
Flooring and Backsplash Chosen to Hold Up
Our crew levels the subfloor before the new flooring goes down, which keeps it from shifting or cracking over time. The backsplash gets the same attention to layout and grout.
Full Kitchen Gut Renovation for Homes With Real Character
When a kitchen needs more than new finishes, we take it down to the studs and rebuild it in a style that fits the rest of your home. Our crew and project manager stay with the job until it’s done.

Paul and his crew did a fantastic job renovating an early 2000s kitchen for us, including removing a wall to open up the space – check out the photos for a before/after! They also replaced a deck that had been improperly installed (and was rotten and close to collapsing). Quality work, good communication, and completed on our short timeline – highly recommend!

Is a kitchen remodel the same thing as a kitchen renovation?
A remodel swaps out finishes without touching your kitchen’s footprint. A renovation can reconfigure the space, repositioning walls or updating the plumbing and wiring behind them. Tell us what’s not working in your Nelson kitchen at the estimate, and we’ll match it to the right approach.
Are you familiar with Nelson's older farmhouses and rural homes?
Yes, we’re used to Nelson’s farmhouses and older rural homes. We check the framing and wiring before we design anything, since older construction rarely matches modern assumptions. Ask us about your specific home at the estimate.
How much time should I plan for a Nelson kitchen remodel?
The timeline depends on how much you’re changing and the materials you choose. We’ll set a schedule for your Nelson kitchen before any work begins.
What's the typical price range for a kitchen remodel?
Cost varies with the scope of work and the materials you select. Share your Nelson kitchen’s wish list with us, and we’ll put together a quote.
